Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client, a prominent property development and management company specializing in residential and commercial projects, is currently seeking a dedicated Junior Health & Safety Officer to join their team on-site.
Responsibilities:
•Implement and monitor health and safety policies in compliance with legal regulations.
•Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
•Investigate workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.
•Provide health and safety training to staff and contractors.
•Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training sessions.
•Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Requirements:
•Valid registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
•Proven experience in health and safety within the property development or related industry.
•Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
•Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Candidates with only civil experience will not be considered.
